Book Review, CAROUSEL Magazine
I wrote and illustrated a short (7-page) comic about Tove Ditlevsen’s memoir Youth for CAROUSEL.
The magazine runs a blog series of “experimental” book reviews, encouraging unusual formats and stylizations. I took that as an opportunity to ponder the book’s enduring themes when read against the backdrop of the raging pandemic. You can read the review in its entirety here:
