A series of illustrations for "Local Love", a United Way initiative. It accompanies an editorial about escalating income inequality -- a topic particularly relevant to Toronto, where the gap between rich and poor is widening at double the national rate. Inequality has negative health outcomes for all, rich and poor, even in thriving times. But COVID-19 has intensified the crisis, disproportionately impacting low-income workers and driving them further into precarity and unsafe work conditions.
